One Year Ago

Today my sister and her husband, Steve, are celebrating their first anniversary. Hip-hip-hooray! And an even bigger "hooray" for the fact that they are currently at a luxurious all-inclusive resort in Mexico! So fun.

So today I am thinking about how spectacular it was to be a part of their wedding last June. Everything about it was beautiful and perfect. Wonderful memories spill over in my mind. My sister was the most gorgeous bride. Steve was a handsome groom, and the answer to our prayers in terms of what we were hoping for in a future husband for Janessa. I am just thrilled to pieces that these two are married and that I get to be in the same family as them. In the words of my beloved Aunt Leah, "It makes my heart do a happy dance!"

Steve and Janessa, I am thanking God for you two today, and for His grace in bringing you together! Love you guys oodles. Hope you're having an absolute ball in Mexico! Happy one year anniversary, and here's to many more!
